Crafting distinctive spaces, a living art installation for your environment
In the midst of Mont Blanc, you’ll find Cosmiques, a unique retreat in the Alps – a BOUTIQUE HOTEL for skiers, dreamers, climbers, dancers, or lovers!
At the heart of Cosmiques lies a SKI LIFESTYLE that serves as the central theme & starting point for our entire hotel concept, design & installation. Our shared studio is is a smörgåsbord of creativity, embracing colour, shape, furniture, & pattern, all of which align perfectly with the philosophy behind establishing Cosmiques as a distinctive destination & stay.
Comprised of five floors, each level of the hotel provides a change in altitude via the colour-coded system, which were a concept to aid WAY-FINDING & it just looked very cool too. The bespoke beds, furniture, wallpaper & carpets were accordingly coloured to match.
The top three floors make up the bedrooms, whilst the bottom two contain the restaurant bar & night bar, which we designed to be full of confidence & colour play with a modern nod to the 1970s film The Shining by Stanley Kubrick. Each level aims to create a sense of intimacy & discovery through sharing space.
Our interior design studio delivered the entire package remotely from London. This included original design concepts, design development, furniture design, textiles, floor plans through to DETAILED 3D CADs & specs for trades.
Cosmiques highlights the different sides that CHAMONIX has to offer; mountains, modern living, culture, history & music for their guests.
